I got this phone for while im at work, I have a very hands on job and every other phone I have had has always been broke or damaged while at work, mainly becuase of me dropping or knocking it.

This phone lasted a lot longer than the others and thats becuase I was told it was \"drop\" proof and I realy needed a phone that could handle a few knocks and drops.

Its not the kind of phone you buy for the looks but more a case for those that need a phone that can take a few knocks, so if your in construction like me or a similar hands on job then I would realy recomend this phone.

A mobile phone should first serve its purpose,i.e should be comfortable to handle while making a call or sending an urgebt msg,the other facilities provided are only ansillaries. Nokia 5100 will definitely be a failure model because its doesnt serve its main puspose.The mobile looks very flimsy by the first look, thereby the buyer will lose hope of its warranty for long life and more over it does not even give a very attractive look to own it for luxury. So on the whole its should have been designed by an employee in Nokia who had the worst day of his life when he proposed such a design.
